Root River Jam is an acoustic group based in southeastern MN. They perform the original music of guitarist and front man Dave Wilson, as well as covers of Americana classics. In the words of music blogger Jeff Hansel, Wilson\u2019s music will \u201ctake you into the clouds and beyond with incredible instrumentals and joyous singing that\u2019s downright fun to hear.\u201d<\/p>\n

Upright bassist Blake Bonde\u2019s formal classical training gives him a broad musical vocabulary, ranging from furious jazz pizzicato to lush arco.
\nViolinist David Beyer, who grew up in Missouri playing fiddle contests from a young age, brings a twangy edge to Root River Jam\u2019s jazzy and energetic sound.<\/p>\n

Miles Johnston\u2019s broad musical background, has him playing a diverse range of music. With many area bands. He adds rythmic finess to the fusion styles of Root River Jam!<\/p>\n
